At Sheehy Auto Stores, community is at the heart of everything we do.
Each year, from May 1–June 30, our dealerships across Maryland, Virginia,
and Washington, D.C. unite for Sheehy Has Heart, a two-month initiative
supporting the American Heart Association (AHA) and its mission to fight
heart disease and stroke.
This year, thanks to the overwhelming generosity and support from our customers, employees, and community partners, we raised:
$351,000 for the American Heart Association
Through donations, vehicle sales, community events, and wellness activities, we helped fuel life-saving research, education, and outreach programs throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Since the campaign began in 2014, Sheehy has contributed more than $3.3 million toward advancing heart health.
“Each year, our employees, customers, and partners rally together to make a meaningful difference for families affected by heart disease. We’re proud to champion this cause and are committed to advancing the American Heart Association’s lifesaving mission.”
— Vince Sheehy, President, Sheehy Auto Stores

As part of the American Heart Association’s #MoveMore Challenge, Sheehy employees participated in our companywide
Pedometer Challenge, encouraging everyone to take active steps toward healthier hearts.
Across all stores, Sheehy associates logged:
1,093,099 steps — enough to walk from Washington, D.C. to Detroit!
(And we beat last year’s total by more than 52,000 steps!)
The Pedometer Challenge was just one of many employee wellness activities throughout the campaign.
